| Volunteers Working on Behalf of Karen Boback Gain More Time for Petition Signatures |
| Friends of Karen Boback announce that because of the recent nor’easter snowstorm, the deadline for the return of petitions has been extended to Wednesday, March 3. It was originally set for Monday. Karen Boback was the first candidate to announce her intention to run for reelection. A resident of Harveys Lake, Boback is seeking a third term as State Representative for District 117 that includes portions of three counties – Columbia, Luzerne, Wyoming. “Petitions carried by volunteers were already coming in before the snowstorm,” she said, adding - “I’m hoping to surpass the 1,300 signatures that were handed in to Department of State in the 2008 election.” |
